Nominations are now open for the Leading Girls Building Communities Recognition Program and the Leading Women Building Communities Recognition Program.
Since being introduced in 2006, the Leading Women/Leading Girls Building Communities program has honoured over 450 Ontario women for their leadership, their community service, and their dedication to improving the lives of others.
I am honoured to have the opportunity to recognize women in our community who are dedicated to community service and inspiring others. Past Kitchener-Waterloo honourees have been professors, business leaders, artists and advocates.

Nominees must:
- meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the nominations package
- submit a completed nomination form (please do not fill out MPP contact information)
- include at least two letters of recommendation with their nomination form
- reside in the provincial riding of Kitchener-Waterloo (to check riding by address, click here)
Please submit completed nomination packages by email to [email protected] by Friday, January 13th, 2017 for consideration.
