The Legislative Assembly of Ontario Model Parliament (OMP) is a new educational program designed for civic-minded high school students who are interested in current events and provincial issues. This unique educational experience will bring together 107 students in grades 9-12, representing each of the province’s ridings, for a 3-day Model Parliament Program in Toronto. They will have the opportunity to meet key figures in Ontario’s parliamentary process and lean about the history of the provincial legislature and the legislative process through tours, workshops, and presentations.
The OMP typically takes place in the Spring and the deadline to register is in February.
