To the Legislative Assembly of Ontario:
WHEREAS after relentless advocacy, the Ford government provided workers with just three temporary sick days for a pandemic that is now in its seventh wave;
WHEREAS workers need 10 permanent, employer-paid sick days each year so they can stay home when they are sick or are caring for a sick child, giving them time to recover and protecting co-workers and customers from getting sick too;
We the undersigned call on the Legislative Assembly of Ontario to support 10 permanent paid sick days for all working people.
